The Process

AI-assisted. Human-reviewed. Senior-engineered.

We use AI throughout the app lifecycle to accelerate research, design exploration, documentation, code assistance, testing, and QA — but every important decision is reviewed by experienced humans before it reaches production.

Where AI helps. Where humans decide.

We use AI where it improves speed, coverage, and quality. We use humans where judgement, taste, responsibility, and accountability matter. Speed without review creates risk — so the process has human quality gates at every serious decision point.

AI assists with

  • Research synthesis
  • Competitive analysis
  • UX option exploration
  • User story drafting
  • Technical documentation
  • Code scaffolding
  • Refactoring suggestions
  • Test case generation
  • Accessibility checks
  • Performance investigation
  • Release checklist preparation

Human experts review

  • Product direction
  • UX decisions
  • Visual design taste
  • Native platform behaviour
  • Technical architecture
  • Security and privacy decisions
  • API contracts
  • Database and backend assumptions
  • Production code quality
  • App Store / Play Store readiness
  • Final release approval
AI can suggest. Humans decide. Senior developers approve what ships.

The full lifecycle, stage by stage.

Every project moves through the same clear stages: discovery, UX, design, architecture, development, testing, launch, monitoring, and support. At each one, AI accelerates the work and humans own the decisions.

  1. 01

    Discovery & product understanding

Understand the business, the users, the workflows, the constraints, and what success actually measures — before anything is designed or scoped.

    AI assists

    • Summarising discovery notes and workshop transcripts
    • Mapping user personas and turning notes into draft user stories
    • Identifying requirement gaps and unstated assumptions
    • Drafting feature lists with acceptance criteria
    • Competitor and market pattern analysis

    Humans review

    • Founder and client alignment on what the product is for
    • Product scope validation — what is in, what is deliberately out
    • UX lead review of journeys and assumptions
    • Senior technical feasibility review

    You receive

    • Product brief and feature scope
    • User journeys and personas
    • MVP-versus-later roadmap
    • Initial technical assumptions and a risk register
  2. 02

    UX strategy & information architecture

Define how the app should work — structure, navigation, and states — before a single screen is designed.

    AI assists

    • Generating alternative user flows to compare
    • Drafting navigation models
    • Surfacing edge cases across flows
    • Checking for missing states: empty, loading, error, offline, permission denied, failed payment

    Humans review

    • UX structure review by the design lead
    • Platform behaviour review for iOS and Android conventions
    • Client approval of the core flows

    You receive

    • User flows and app map
    • Screen inventory and interaction model
    • Edge-case map
  3. 03

    Interface design & prototype

Design a polished native interface that feels right on each platform — validated on device, not just in a design tool.

    AI assists

    • Exploring layout directions quickly
    • Producing interface copy variations
    • Generating design critique checklists
    • Checking consistency across screens
    • Supporting the accessibility review

    Humans review

    • Senior UX/UI review for taste and hierarchy
    • Native platform design review on iOS and Android
    • Accessibility and readability review
    • Client design approval

    You receive

    • High-fidelity UI designs and a clickable prototype
    • Design system foundations
    • Component behaviour, motion, and interaction notes

We do not ship AI-generated design blindly. Every interface is reviewed for taste, clarity, platform fit, and usability.

  4. 04

    Native architecture planning

    Senior technical gate

Design the technical foundation — the decisions that are expensive to change later — before the build accelerates.

    AI assists

    • Drafting architecture options and comparing trade-offs
    • Generating API contract drafts

    • Security and privacy review
    • Offline and data-sync review where the product needs it
    • Scalability and maintainability review

    You receive

    • Architecture plan: state management, data model, API integration
    • Offline strategy and authentication approach where required
    • Analytics and event-tracking plan
    • Error-handling strategy and testing plan

The stack is native and deliberately mainstream: Swift with SwiftUI (UIKit where suitable) on iOS; Kotlin with Jetpack Compose on Android; MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modularisation where appropriate; GitHub Actions, Fastlane, TestFlight, and Play internal testing where appropriate — chosen per project, not applied as a template.

  5. 05

    Native app development

    Senior technical gate

Build the app with production-quality native engineering, in short iterations you can hold on your own device.

    AI assists

    • Code scaffolding and boilerplate generation

    • User behaviour analytics and store review feedback
  9. 09

Three months of free post-launch support

Every new app build includes 3 months of free post-launch support — so launch is a handover to users, not a goodbye.

    Included

    • Bug fixes for issues in the delivered scope
    • Crash investigation and minor production fixes
    • Store review issue support
    • Launch monitoring and small UX polish fixes
    • Compatibility checks for critical OS updates in the period
    • Guidance on analytics and user feedback

    Planned separately

    • New features and major redesigns
    • New platform builds and major backend changes
    • Third-party service fees and store developer account fees
    • Large scope changes

Support covers the product we agreed to build and launch. New features or major scope changes can be planned as a separate roadmap — and after three months, ongoing maintenance can continue under its own agreement.

Fair questions about AI and our process

Do you use AI to build apps?

Yes. We use AI to assist with research, documentation, code scaffolding, testing, and QA — it makes us meaningfully faster. But every important UX, architecture, code, security, and release decision is reviewed by humans, with senior developers responsible for what ships.

Will my app be fully AI-generated?

No. AI assists the workflow; the app is designed, reviewed, tested, and approved by humans. Senior developers review production code before release, and nothing reaches a store without human sign-off.

Who reviews the code?

Production code goes through human pull-request review, including senior developer review for architecture, maintainability, security-sensitive logic, and native platform behaviour. Approval is required before merge or release.

Do you help launch the app?

Yes — the full launch process for both the App Store and Google Play: release preparation, listing content, TestFlight and internal testing, metadata and privacy declarations, submission support, and help resolving review issues if Apple or Google raises them.

Do you guarantee App Store or Play Store approval?

No — Apple and Google control final approval, and no honest studio can guarantee outcomes or timelines. What we do is prepare the app carefully against the current guidelines, review requirements before submission, and support fixes if review issues are raised.

What happens after launch?

Every new app build includes 3 months of free post-launch support: bug fixes for delivered-scope issues, crash investigation, minor production fixes, launch monitoring, and store review issue support.

Is support included forever?

No. The included period is 3 months after launch and covers the delivered scope. Ongoing maintenance, new features, and major changes are handled under a separate support or roadmap agreement — which we are happy to plan with you.
